Having been immersed in the exciting world of reputation management for over 30 years, I’ve been lucky enough to experience incredibly diverse and challenging roles across all sectors, ranging from blue chip and private business, to government, local authority and charities.

Summary of past experience:
♦ Trained and worked at Rolls-Royce as part of the Public Affairs team specialising in brand reputation management, advertising, communication and external relations. Promotions included: TAV-8A Harrier Jump Jet: Pegasus engine; HMS Invincible (Royal Navy’s flagship) Olympus engine; Tornado, RB199 jet engine.
♦ Responsible at The Greater Manchester Courts Service for press relations; external relations in partnership with GMP/CPS; communications and relationship management training alongside the Director of HR. Liaised regularly with Home Office press team and ministers relating to Government targets, in particular the courthouse amalgamation programme, with the implementation of the new branding across the 12 GM courthouses and gun crime.
♦ Responsible at The Manchester Grammar School for the introduction, development and management of the MGS brand; reputation management; external communication; development and implementation of the School’s PR, Communication and Digital strategy; feature writing; advertising campaigns; events and roadshows, content writer and manager of the School’s digital landscape, along with management of the PR & Comms office.
